Born Vitacolonna, Anna Teresa has lived in New York for 42 years now. In her latest book she tells how her parents had to sell their home in Guardiagrele to buy one in Pescara. She has authored also other cookery books.

Ill with multiple sclerosis and in a wheelchair for 30 years, the other day she rose and made a few steps, explaining she had dreamed of the Virgin Mary that night. Doctors acknowledge that the event is exceptional, though the illness gives at times signs of regression.
