MESSAGGERO - Twinship with Brazil / Gemellaggio brasiliano

A twinship was signed with The Provincia Ribeirao Preto, a region of San Paolo, Brasil. For the occasion a delegation led by mayor Antonio Palocci Filho, government secretary Donizeti De Carvalho Rosa, and counsellor Cleison Scott.The twin province in Brazil comprises 86 municipalities. In Brasil there are 24 Italians, or Italian Brazilians.

MESSAGGERO - Castellalto - Congress on emigration / Convegno sull’emigrazione

Congress "I giovani: capitale futuro" aimed at offering study options to children of emigrants in the University of Teramo. From the area there was a massive emigration to Venezuela in the 1950's and 60's. The University of Santa Maria di Caracas will offer the same possibilities to Italians in Venezuela.
