Ocre - The treasures of the Monastery / I tesori del convento d'Ocre
During the meeting about the art and the history of the Eremo di Sant'Angelo, the restoring of the Monastery and its frescos were presented by historian Ferdinando Bologna. The Ancient Monastery, in a first time belonged to the benedictine nuns; then, in 1480, went to the friars of San Bernardino, l'Aquila. From that period onwards the monastery was kept by the Franciscans. The relics of San Cesidio da Fossa, Beato Placido da Roio, Ambrogio da Pizzoli, Timoteo da Monticchio and Bernardino da Fossa are hosted in it.

Pescara - Cipollone, the historical barber of corso Manthoné / Cipollone, il barbiere storico di corso Manthoné
In 1897 Francesco Cipollone, Tommasos's father, opened a barber's saloon on the ground floor of D'Annunzio's home. Don Ciccillo (Francesco) was the personal barber of the poet.
When Francesco died Tommaso took his place and became the barber of Mario D'Annunzio, Gabriele's son. Mario was not a wealthy man so Luigi D'Amico (the inventor of the Parrozzo, the typical Chrismas pastry from Pescara) used to pay the barber for him. One of the last times Mario went to the barber, he asked him if the Pescarese knew his father's poems. Tommaso started to recite one and Mario burst into tears.

40 years ago he rode his motorcycle into the river to attract tourists. Then he invented the art of animating the summers of holiday-makers organizing dances, fashion shows, watermelon dinners. This is Eriberto, an institution for Pescarese summers.

Bolognano - Cake festival / Festa del dolce a Piano d'Orta, by Marco Tabellione
The Festa del dolce will be repeated this year in the first half of November. Awards to the best cakes, and the visitors invited finally to finish the works produced.
