Rita Connizzo from the USA, a mother of two boys of 15 and 13, was born on 18 january 1955 in the hospital of Chieti and left by her mother into an orphanage, then adopted by an American couple. Her surname on the passport was Mammetti while on other documents it was Mammarella. Until now she had no access to the documents of her adoption. She is ready to open her arms to any family she may have. If that is not possible, at least to know her own medical history.

21st exhibition in the Casa di Dante in Abruzzo: "L'arte nuova e Dante" 228 pictures from the Risaliti - Valiani collection: drawings, watercolors and paintings of Italian artists of the last century, collected during a contest to illustrate the Divine Comedy. The works, Corrado Gizzi, explains, are ordered according to the sequence of the cantos.
