The reenactement was prepared by association "Il Mastrogiurato". The competitors run down the descent on sharp rocks and thorns cross the river Vella, then run up the steep alleys of Pacentro and finally lie down before the altar, with bleeding feet. This is not really a sports competition, rather a proof of manly courage. The prize is a piece of cloth.
